About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who manages health problems and coordinates healthcare for patients in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations. This position requires collaboration with other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of a plan of care and treatment, implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management. The successful candidate must possess knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in New York State.
- Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS.
