About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Gastroenterology NP working closely with our physicians in a beautiful office setting. This is an Inpatient role that requires weekend availability, specifically 3-4 hours on both Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient health status and developing treatment plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Implementing treatment plans and evaluating patient status and clinical management
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- MUST HAVE GASTROENTEROLOGY EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE
- Current licensure in New York in good standing
- Current DEA certificate
- Proficient in EMR and Telehealth
- At least 3-5 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Bi-Lingual Russian or Ukrainian a plus
