The ideal candidate will have hospitalist or strong primary care experience, with a focus on gastroenterology care. This role requires exceptional patient service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Assessing health status, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient status and clinical management.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Providing exceptional patient service skills, displaying courtesy and respect in all interactions.
Requirements:
• Hospitalist or strong primary care experience, with a focus on gastroenterology care.
• Strong knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Eligibility for hospital privileges and a sharp attention to detail.
