We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Patient Registrar at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants of Albany New York

The Patient Registrar Responsibilities are :

• Meeting and registering patients
• Entering all demographic and insurance information
• Obtaining authorizations to ensure payment / referrals
• Verifying insurance eligibility for all patients
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles and past due balances
• Creating payment plans for patients
• Private pay collection follow-up
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times with patients, physicians and co-workers
• Adhere to and support all policies and procedures of Albany Gastroenterology Consultants
• Other responsibilities as assigned
