CNC Operator Job Description
Responsibilities :
The CNC operator is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of one or more CNC machines. This includes mills and / or lathes. The Operator must safely operate these machines while adhering to all company procedures and policies.
Safety :
- Attend weekly safety meeting.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean work area and machinery.
- Complete all required safety training.
- Identify and help eliminate safety hazards.
- Have a “Safety First” mindset.
