What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner, Pain Management position at Allied Health?
- Existing team of 2 board-certified pain management physicians and 3 nurse practitioners.
- Practice focused on managing pain through physical recovery and interventional procedures with minimal opioid management.
- Delivery of high-quality healthcare, excellent patient outcomes, and documentation excellence.
- None of the typical corporate burden of looming RVU-targets and quotas.
Expectations:
- Previous clinical experience in pain management, neurosurgery, orthopedics, or other procedural specialties is preferred but not required.
- Experience ordering, reading, and interpreting neuraxial and musculoskeletal imaging studies such as X-ray and MRI.
- Experience with musculoskeletal and neurological physical examination and documentation.
- Strong written communications skills to create comprehensive medical documentation.
- Strong verbal communications skills to ensure that our patients have full understanding of their diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
- Ability to interpret clinical data and develop treatment plans.
- Commitment to fostering a team environment with the other providers, medical assistants, nurses, and non-clinical staff.

Part Time position for 2-3 days per week. The initial training will require traveling to Lafayette, LA but you will be compensated for mileage.
Salary to be negotiated based on skillset, proficiency, and experience. Bonuses are included for productivity.
