We're seeking a Social Worker – BHS Hospital Based (Contract Role) .

- Local Restrictions: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Facility: Hospital-Based Setting
- Schedule: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Summary: The Social Worker will work with a wide range of patient populations including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, and coordinating post-hospital care. This role supports effective clinical resource management and works closely with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
Requirements and Qualifications:
✅ LCSW licensed in the state of Georgia
✅ Master’s in Social Work (MSW) OR Bachelor’s in a related field with strong clinical background
✅ Minimum 3 years of hospital-based experience - social work, case management, or related field.
✅ Certification as Certified Case Manager (CCM)
✅ Active BLS (AHA only)
✅ Ability to interact with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.
✅ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
