Job Overview
Allied Integration Services is looking for a program director to oversee and manage our day program in Rohnert Park. After a decade of committed service to the agency, our director has decided to retire. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of People to lead our human resources initiatives and foster a culture of growth and development within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, relationship management, and behavioral health, particularly in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping our workforce strategy and ensuring that our programs align with the needs of our employees and the communities we serve.
Duties
-Maintain client files
-Maintain staff files
-Adherence to Community Care
-Adherence to Regional Center Standards
-Work closely with contracted behavioral specialists
-Maintain and develop community partnerships
-Develop and maintain employment placements for our clients
- Develop and implement comprehensive human resources programs that support organizational goals.
- Oversee budgeting for HR initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Manage administrative functions related to employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Supervise HR staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Collaborate with program management teams to enhance services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders to promote community engagement and support services.
- Implement training programs focused on behavioral health and social work practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs, making adjustments as necessary to meet organizational needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program development and management within a human resources context.
- Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage financial resources effectively.
- Experience supervising staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of best practices in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Background in behavioral health or social work is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational effectiveness.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
