Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement process and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing two buyers, building strong relationships with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier selection and negotiation to purchase order creation and delivery.
- Manage and mentor two buyers, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with Allied Maker's quality and ethical standards.
- Identify and source new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with NetSuite is essential.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
