We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement process, manage two buyers, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier selection and negotiation to purchase order creation and delivery.
- Manage and mentor two buyers, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
- Supplier Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with Allied Maker's quality and ethical standards.
- Identify and source new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate risks.
- Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock inventory levels, lead times, and reorder points to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Cost Control:
- Analyze and monitor procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present regular procurement reports, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- NetSuite Utilization:
- Utilize NetSuite for procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance within the NetSuite system.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with NetSuite is essential.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
