Job Overview

Allied Maker seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement process, manage two buyers, and ensure timely and cost-effective material acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy Development:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices.

2. Procurement Process Oversight:

   Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier selection and negotiation to purchase order creation and delivery.

3. Buyer Management:

   Manage and mentor two buyers, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.

4. Supplier Relationship Management:

   Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.

5. Inventory Management Collaboration:

   Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock.

6. Cost Control Analysis:

   Analyze and monitor procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

7. NetSuite Utilization:

   Utilize NetSuite for procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and reporting.

8. Compliance and Documentation:

   Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite is essential.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
