Refrigeration Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration/Rack Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in HVAC systems, with the ability to effectively maintain, repair, and troubleshoot refrigeration units. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration systems in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to refrigeration units.
• Perform necessary repairs on mechanical components, including plumbing and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure optimal property maintenance.
• Build and design custom solutions for refrigeration needs as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on HVAC systems.
• Ability to plumb and maintain various types of refrigeration equipment.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC or refrigeration technology are a plus.
