Description
Allied National is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our Overland Park team! This position will be focused on Agent and Broker identification and development utilizing their knowledge of Allied's group-based products, selling philosophies, and procedures. We are seeking someone who is skilled in recruiting, training, and providing ongoing support to our agents, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to effectively represent our products.
Responsibilities Include:
• Provide ongoing support to agents and brokers to help them successfully market and sell Allied products within their communities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents/brokers, offering guidance to ensure they meet their sales goals.
• Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to attract and retain new agents.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor products to ensure Allied remains
competitive in the marketplace.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business related field is preferred
• Sales experience, preferably in insurance or a related industry
• Strong knowledge of group-based insurance products and sales techniques
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to recruit, train and support agents in various locations
• Experience communicating information both orally and written to internal and external customers of all professional levels
• Experience analyzing data and trends in the marketplace to effectively market products to agents
