- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and access control systems in commercial settings.
- Perform structured cabling work, including installing support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerducts.
- Conduct tests to ensure newly installed systems and devices are fully operational.
- Troubleshoot cable and network issues efficiently and effectively.
- 5 years of experience as a Data Cable Technician with expertise in low-voltage systems and access control.
- Familiarity with industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA) and ability to read blueprints and site maps.
- Willingness to travel nationwide up to 95% of the time, with flexibility for day/night shifts.
- Responsibilities to work at heights (40 feet), in confined spaces, and operate boom/scissor lifts.
- Knowledge of conduit installation is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last three years).
