As a NOC Technician II, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless connectivity and top-tier service for all network, IP, Ethernet, and voice services. In this high-energy role, you’ll serve as the first line of defense for monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing the network. You’ll triage customer and network alarms, address trouble tickets, and provide timely, clear updates to our customers.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a telecommunications environment, with knowledge of voice and data communication networks.
- Familiarity with carrier transport circuit technologies (Ethernet over Copper, ADSL, T1s, fiber services, Metro-Ethernet) and network infrastructure (DNS, IP Subnetting).
- Experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP) and telephony-based technologies (TDM, Converged, VOIP, SIP).
- Must have exp. troubleshooting Optical Transport, Ciena & Cisco
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle customer incidents empathetically while escalating and following up when necessary.
- Collaborate with telecommunication providers, enterprise customers, and vendors to coordinate resources and resolve network incidents efficiently.
- Stay informed about and adhere to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize performance of all edge network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, and telecommunications circuits across the network.
- Handle event and incident management according to established processes, ensuring prompt response and resolution of network issues.
- Create, triage, and manage trouble tickets, perform remote diagnostics, and troubleshoot services (e.g., TDM, VoIP, SIP, DIA, MPLS, VPRN), escalating as needed to carriers and internal teams until resolution.
