- Collect and process patient specimens (blood and urine) using various techniques, including venous and micro-sampling.
- Accurately label, store, and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring proper handling and chain of custody.
- Enter and manage lab orders within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to all infection control and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient care and perform necessary clerical and support duties as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy and CPR certifications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills are necessary.
- Responsibilities to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- One year of experience is preferred but not required; familiarity with infection control policies is a plus.
