Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal representation to employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, taking depositions, and gathering evidence.
- Develop and implement effective defense strategies.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently.
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations.
- Maintain excellent client communication and relationships.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar.
- Experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Missouri workers' compensation laws and procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Responsibilities to manage a high volume caseload and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
- Responsibilities to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
