Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal representation to employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, taking depositions, and gathering evidence.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently.
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations.
• Maintain excellent client communication and relationships.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Missouri and Kansas State Bar.
• Experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Kansas and Missouri workers' compensation laws and procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Responsibilities to manage a high volume caseload and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
• Responsibilities to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary- $80k-$120k Base with Uncapped Production Bonus
