DESCRIPTION : (Including but not limited to)
The Metallurgical Engineer role at Allied Power Group is responsible for constructing, maintaining and implementing process controls to improve overall quality as per industry standards and meet customer requirements. Additionally, this role will also provide expertise in sample preparation, evaluation and material classification of advanced turbine coatings, while warranting compliance to safety, regulatory, and other principal procedures.
KEY FUNCTIONS :
- Develop Technical Data Sheet (Heat Treatment & Testing requirements) based on material, governing standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Review and advise on technical & specific requirements on a customer PO.
- Review and execute approval of special manufacturing processes that have metallurgical requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to the team and customers, driving solutions in process improvement, product development, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

B.S. Metallurgical Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering Degree with concentration in Metallurgy)
