Job Details
LOCAL TRAVELERS ONLY -When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab. Candidate must have advanced knowledge in basic knowledge of imaging equipment.
Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members.
Job Requirements
Candidate must be registered, have credentials and NM state licensing (medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy).
BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience.
Schedule Information
Local traveler needed 1 day / week to keep all echo clinics open while covering PTO of multiple tech.
On Call requirements : Yes cover call / back up call.
Floating requirements : Yes work in both inpatient (8 / 9 pts) and outpatient clinic (9 pt.).
Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Orientation : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Unit Specific Information
SCRUBS : Required and provided by the facility.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Additional Details
NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024).
Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED / AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
