Summary of Qualifications :
Property Maintenance or Multifamily Maintenance Experience : 2 years (Required)
EPA and HVAC Certification (Preferred) – Company paid assistance to achieve certification within first year of employment.
Available to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday
Available for after hours, on-call shifts (As Required)
MAKE READY TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY : The Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing recently vacated apartments for market readiness, responding to maintenance service work orders, and assisting the property maintenance team.
MAKE READY TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs on a daily basis minor and routine maintenance / repair involving the following : electrical and plumbing, A / C and heating systems, appliances, water heaters, water irrigation systems, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, tile, carpet or LVP flooring, roofing, gutters, fasteners, gas fixtures, shutters, interior and exterior doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors, boilers (gas and electric ), door locks, mailboxes and locks, controlled access systems, ceiling leaks, walls, pool areas and any other physical amenity on the property. Coordinates with lead maintenance technician for more extensive repairs or replacements.
Removes and transfers heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrant.
Assists in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc., to dumpster when necessary.
Follows all required safety measures when performing all duties. Uses a dolly or back support belt along with team lifting at all times to ensure safety.
Repairs holes in walls and performs painting duties as needed.
Ensures interior doors, and cabinets are in good repair. Polishes and varnishes cabinets and other woodwork as needed.
Assists property maintenance team as needed.
Clean breezeways and parking lots by use of a blower or pressure washer.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management to meet the needs of the business.
