Overview
Allied Reliability is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for 3rd shift. These positions are direct hire with a reputable organization in the South Beloit, IL area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all production equipment and repair mechanical equipment in assigned areas.
- Analyze complex drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to understand system operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical components, control voltage issues, and troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment using computer software.
- Effectively weld repairs on equipment.
- Work independently on maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds.
- Perform fabrication or modification of support components for equipment.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/maintenance technician.
- Strong attention to detail and solid troubleshooting skills necessary.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices a plus.
