Job Title: Millwright Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a leading producer of roofing granules. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of craft duties involved in constructing, maintaining and repairing plant facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform activities associated with welding, fabrication, repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of plants, buildings, equipment and machinery as directed.
- Ensure the quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under control.
- Maintain good housekeeping and conduct safety inspections of work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrate ability and skill with welding (primarily Stick welding).
- Previous maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required.
A mechanical or electrical proficiency qualification or apprentice program completion is desired.
