The Maintenance Manager at J&J Snack Foods Corp is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians manage maintenance projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians providing guidance training and support.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and longevity of facilities machinery and equipment.
Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities based on production schedules and equipment needs.
Collaborate with production and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
Provide corrective recommendations to the Plant Manager regarding safety equipment and production processes.
Ensure all technicians are trained in safety and operational procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
5 years of maintenance experience
5 years of maintenance management experience
1 year of supervisory experience
Strong mechanical knowledge
Experience with EHS Management and OSHA standards
Strong organizational and analysis skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to develop team members
