What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Shift Lead position at Allied Reliability?
Responsible for directing and regular monitoring of the shift performance and the communication / coordination of improvement initiatives.
Responsible for safety initiatives communication and training of employees on respective shift
Communicate with production and maintenance employees regarding status of work flow
Responsible for yard and production activities as required by vacancies and other customer demand requirements
Other accountabilities and duties as assigned by Production Manager
Requirements
Strong communication and team building competencies
Experience operating heavy equipment
High School diploma or GED required
Will need to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time
Will need to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights
Requires the ability to do simple math calculations use basic tools and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance
