Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior EHS Professional to join our team at Allied Reliability. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of EHS processes across our global manufacturing facilities.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management, with experience in managing risks, trending metrics, and developing reports to drive accountability and action throughout the site.
This role is based in Niagara Falls, NY, and will require limited travel to the Norwich, NY plant. The position will supervise two EHS Specialists and report directly to the Director of Manufacturing at the Niagara Site.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and report EHS records to ensure adherence to corporate policies and/or regulatory requirements, including Process Safety Management processes.
- Monitor, interpret, and communicate summaries of standards and regulatory requirements to assure compliance and proactive management of risk.
- Lead implementation and management of site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Establish safety and health mitigation goals and develop metrics, dashboards, and/or scorecards to track/communicate/drive progress.
- Analyze safety metrics and communicate results to leadership to drive action and accountability.
- Work with plant leaders and employees to implement effective solutions.
- Drive a standardized and harmonized approach across the plant to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Present topical information/metrics on a regular basis to site leadership teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, preferably in Safety, Industrial or Environmental Engineering.
- Five plus years of experience managing EHS in a manufacturing facility, with in-depth knowledge of HSE regulations.
- OSHA, EPA, NYS DEC, DHS, PSM, PHA, and DHA experience preferred.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
