We currently have an opening for an experienced full time Floating Leasing Agent in Seattle Metro Area, WA, who will assist in resident leasing and renewals. The right candidate will have a can-do attitude, is a self-starter and works well in a team. If this sounds like you, then we would like to hear from you.


We offer:


  • $30 per hour
  • Full time employees earn 152 Hours or 19 days of PTO per year with the ability to carry over up to 80 hours a year. Increased PTO after 6 and 9 consecutive years with Allied Residential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned


  • Travel to assigned communities to assist with leasing details / training as needed
  • Ascertain needs and qualifications of prospective residents for a variety of properties
  • Efficiently handle multiple communication channels, including emails and phone calls, delivering site-specific information to prospective tenants.
  • Discuss with prospective residents vacant units and the size and layout of rooms, as well as any available amenities
  • Inform prospective residents of availability of nearby schools, shopping malls, recreational facilities, and public transportation
  • Serve as the initial point of contact, playing a pivotal role in the pre-leasing process for our new developments.
  • Coordinate the lease-up processes for several properties simultaneously
  • Rent apartments, collect security deposit as required, and complete lease documents outlining conditions and terms of occupancy
  • Compose and post vacancy advertisements
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings, as assigned


Additional Expectations for this roll:


  • Expectation to operate from a temporary office or affiliate communities, given the ongoing construction at many locations.
  • Require a lot of customer service, be confident with email and phone communication, have Knock experience, as well as Affordable housing experience.
  • Involves straightforward tasks across various Area Median Income (AMI) levels and property specifications.

Qualifications:


To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.   • Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months leasing experience required
  • Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Computer Skills - Must have working knowledge Office Suite (Office 365), Yardi KNOCK CRM Software.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Work environment - The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of the position
  • Noise Level – Typical office environment, but moderate to higher levels may be encountered elsewhere, such as visiting units or walking the property
  • Physical - The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Vision - Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk, including on varied terrain and up and down stairs. Ability to inspect properties and apartment units, in a variety of conditions, and in all manners of weather customary to the Pacific Northwest
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Travel - Personal vehicle travel between locations, sites, and events required. Vehicle and driver must be registered, licensed, and insured. Mileage between sites; from home to sites; or sites to home is not paid. Mileage for special errands or events must be pre-approved by the Portfolio Manager assigned to the affected sites
