As a Recycling Laborer on our Metals Collections team, you will play a key role in our ability to assist the public in selling their recyclable metals to us. This is a full-time day position, that will also require that you work Saturday mornings when our metals collection center is open from 7:30 a.m. - 12 noon. Our Monday through Friday hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You will be scheduled for a day off during the week as well.
Responsibilities
· You will be part of our metals buying team assisting customers and our scale buyer in handling the metals we purchase from homeowners and contractors. Sorting these materials will require that you be physically fit and can occasionally lift up to 50#.
· Previous experience in construction, outdoor work or machine operation in a warehouse environment would be good experience for this position.
· You will need a steady employment history where you are not changing jobs yearly to be considered. Your resume needs to include your current and 3 most recent jobs. A good attendance record will be necessary in our small team environment.
