What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissioning Engineer position at Allied Resources Technical Consultants?
We are seeking two Commissioning Engineers for a data center project in the South Bend, Indiana area. This role will plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning, construction testing, energization, and close-out. You will also review wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documents before project execution.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop and implement project-specific testing and commissioning plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and document high-risk construction and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment and systems.
- Develop and review detailed test reports for various types of electrical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Top Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning services (electric utility experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems, including relay communication and AC/DC schematics.
- Experience using testing tools such as Doble Protection Suite, ProTest, SEL AcSELerator, and Enoserv RTS preferred.
Salary : $45 - $75
