Distribution Designer
Allied Resources is seeking a Distribution Designer who is highly organized, energetic, self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team. A day in the life:
- Initiate designs for the construction and reconstruction of overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Operate surveying instruments and field equipment to collect data for Electric Distribution Designs, property surveys, boundary interpretation, as-built surveys, construction staking, and ROW staking.
- Stay abreast of the changing technologies, work planning, and design methodologies associated with Electric Distribution Design.
The wish list:
- Three years’ experience utilizing Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Experience with electric distribution design and estimation.
- Experience with gas main and gas distribution design and estimation.
- Proficient with the design of both overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
