What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimating Manager position at Allied Resources Technical Consultants?
Allied Resources is hiring an Estimating Manager for a private employee owned engineering firm with experience managing a team of Estimators, managing estimates for a project portfolio, and experienced with the phases of an Industrial Construction project. This is a direct-hire with a base salary ranging up to $150,000, annual bonus, long-term stock options, and comprehensive benefits plan. Full relocation package provided offered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Expertise in estimating costs and resources for electrical components such as transformers, switchgears, substations, flow meters, pressure gauges, and generators, ensuring accurate budgeting and project planning.
- Proficient in estimating costs and resources for systems including sprinklers, HVAC, compressors, turbines, pumps, and general piping systems, with a strong focus on oil and gas industry standards and requirements.
- Manage the proposal development process for a small to medium sized portfolio managing a high volume of estimates. Submit requests for information (RFI) based on bid documents.
- Review labor and material takeoffs and final estimate packages to ensure accuracy before formal quotation.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of work with heavy construction projects, or related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field.
- Working knowledge of Estimating software's (such as Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating, etc.)
