About Allied Resources Technical Consultants:
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in executing estimates for local energy projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating costs and resources for electrical components, including transformers, switchgears, substations, flow meters, pressure gauges, and generators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project estimates, ensuring accurate budgeting and planning.
- Oversee proposal development, prioritizing high-volume estimates within a small to medium-sized portfolio.
- Prepare and submit requests for information (RFI) based on bid documents.
- Review labor and material takeoffs, verifying accuracy before final quotation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in heavy construction projects or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with estimating software, such as Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating, etc.
