We are looking for a Project Superintendent to join a civil infrastructure and energy construction firm to lead field operations on key projects in New Bedford, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a background in heavy civil or energy work to drive high-impact projects from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-site leadership and direction to field staff, including assistant superintendents and labor crews.
- Manage project schedule with detailed 2-week lookaheads and coordination of subcontractors.
- Oversee equipment, materials (including asphalt mix logistics), and labor resources to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Conduct and lead project meetings, maintain open communication with project stakeholders.
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with all specifications from start through project closeout.
Top Qualifiers:
- 5–10 years of experience in civil infrastructure, energy, or heavy construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
