We are seeking an experienced T&D Estimator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing bid documents, and supporting project management throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in utility estimating, construction, and project budgeting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Identify prospective projects and contribute to bid log development.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates in alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
- Analyze bid documents to determine project scope and ensure compliance with owner requirements.
- Develop labor crews, equipment allocations, and production estimates based on project needs.
- Attend pre-qualification events, site visits, and maintain relationships with subcontractors.
Top Qualifications:
- 5 years of estimating experience in the electric utility sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software (Accubid, B2W, HCSS, etc.).
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
