Project Manager – Allied Restoration Company
Purpose of the Position/Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of restoration projects within Allied Restoration Company, specializing in water damage recovery, mold remediation, fire restoration, and other related services. This role includes estimating, conducting on-site inspections, planning and scheduling restoration projects, allocating resources, overseeing and coordinating crews, maintaining job documentation, performing quality inspections, and maintaining regular communication with clients.
The Project Manager reports to the CEO/Owner and collaborates with internal team members and support crews. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and excellent communication to ensure projects are executed effectively, efficiently, and to client satisfaction.
Performance Milestones & DeliverablesWithin the First 30-45 Days:
- Learn Allied Restoration Company’s mission, culture, core values, services, and operational procedures.
- Understand the company’s service history, differentiation strategies, and core offerings.
- Build rapport with support crews, shadow team members, and familiarize with tools, materials, and machines.
- Actively learn the inspection process and full estimating workflow, including contract reviews, estimate packages,Moisture Mapper, site assessments, and cost/price scoping.
- Begin training in Xactimate software for estimating and project management.
- Enroll in certification classes and work toward industry certifications.
- Attend weekly Managers meetings and monthly Safety meetings to gain industry knowledge and insights.
- Learn billing processes and inventory ordering procedures, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Learn and use company apps such as Job Dox, etc.
- Begin networking and building relationships with key accounts (property managers, insurance agents, commercial property owners, etc.).
- Learn basic budgeting and financial tracking for projects.
Key Responsibilities & Time Allocation
- Scheduling & Coordination (~25%) – Plan and manage project workflows, oversee crews, ensure proper PPE usage, order materials, and coordinate inspections.
- Estimating (~25%) – Conduct site inspections, develop accurate project scopes, document work, and utilize Xactimate for cost assessments.
- Site Visits (~25%) – Ensure work quality, troubleshoot issues like mold remediation, and provide updates to clients.
- Client Management (~25%) – Maintain client communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring satisfaction and issue resolution.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Required:
- 1 years construction background and estimating experience.
- 1 years managerial experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new software quickly.
- Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- IICRC WRT certification highly preferred.
- Prior experience with Xactimate software and knowledge of restoration techniques.
