Automotive Service Manager

Allied Service Center is an Independent Repair Facility looking for an exceptional Service Manager to help us grow. We typically have 7-11 employees and are searching for someone with amazing people, management, and sales skills.

Job Summary

• Champion the shop at all times.
• Help with Service Advising
• Take responsibility for outcomes.
• Promote and Grow the Shop.
• Work with customers that have escalated issues.
• Ensure work is completed as described on the repair order and communicate

other known issues to service advisors/customers before vehicle is returned.

• Ask clarifying questions when necessary to refine approach and reduce

duplicated efforts.

• Communicate with service advisors and parts personnel to offer the customer

the most appropriate repair options.

• Control expenses
• Participate & Recommend training as necessary.
• Contribute to the marketing of the company

Deliverables

• Be Self Reliant- You will be made aware of current metrics and that must be constantly monitored so small issues do not grow into larger ones. Ex: (GP, # hours per RO, RO Average, Frequency Rate, ROI, Effective Labor Rate, Service Advisor & Tech Performance, etc.)
• Maintain or Improve Community Reputation (4.5 Google Rating- at least 1 review/mo.). Promote within the Community (Friends, Family, Neighbors, etc.)
• Build trustful and long-term relationships with customers.
• Improve Return on Marketing Investment
• Improve Frequency Rate of Existing Customers
• Work with Controller to ensure our retention campaigns are maintained

properly and on schedule (follow up calls, thank you letters, emails, failure to

authorize letters, etc.)

• Be Prudent-Make Changes After Plans Have Been Made
• Work with Shop Foreman to formalize vehicle inspection process.
• Work with Controller to make sure details on RO’s are correct (Tech info,
