Description
The Project Custodial Manager is responsible for daily supervision, task completion, work quality review and safety. Responsible to liaison with management & inspectors for all assigned accounts and provide feedback to staff regarding maintenance needs. Obtain feedback from customers regarding satisfaction with services. Maintains documentation of inspections, action items, follow up and provides training. Responsible for ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available for daily operations and that all cleaning equipment is safe and working properly.
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma is required plus three (3) years of custodial experience OR
Associate's Degree required
WORK EXPERIENCE :
Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.
Three (3) years of custodial supervisory experience preferred.
Customer Service - communicate with contracting officer technical representative regarding work quality, daily concerns and scheduled projects. Respond to customer issues and assure all requests are assigned and completed. Respond to emergency issues such as leaks, overflows, etc. Assure all customers requirements are met. Assures that the assigned contract site meets the cleaning specifications required and that all cleaning schedules, files and inspections are up-to-date.
Coordinate Special Projects.
Assigns tasks and checks on work in progress.
Performs hands-on maintenance issues. Maintains all equipment in a clean, safe running condition.
Process payroll timecards for approval in payroll software relating to staff reporting to the project manager.
Maintain contract stock room inventory. Order supplies, record receipts, process appropriate paperwork.
Perform Inspections at all contract sites for compliance with project quality plan.
Coordinates any additional services required by the contract.
Maintains the MSDS logs for hazardous chemicals and participates in yearly training on the Hazardous Communication Laws.
Training for existing and new staff. Responsibility includes training new hires on all contract required training as well as annual training updates for existing staff.
