Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in I&C design activities, strong project coordination skills, and in-depth knowledge of control systems architecture, digital systems, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate I&C engineering projects and multi-discipline design teams throughout the planning, design, and construction phases.
- Perform a comprehensive range of I&C design activities , including :
- Control systems architecture and development
- Digital systems , PLC , and DCS configurations
- Network design , including switches, logic development, and communication protocols
- Process controls , HMI development , and P&ID review and support
- Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments and procurement activities
- Interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards , as well as customer design requirements , to prepare electrical design and construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions.
- Prepare engineering cost estimates and schedule projections to support project planning and execution.
- Generate and review design calculations , specifications , and ensure accuracy and compliance with all project requirements.
- Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications to support design processes and documentation.
