Cost Manager – Electrical, Mechanical, & CSA

We are seeking two experienced Cost Managers to support a high-profile LG / Hyundai construction project in Savannah, GA :

1 Electrical Cost Manager

1 Mechanical Cost Manager

About the Role :

We are seeking experienced Cost Managers to oversee cost controls, financial reporting, and procurement for Electrical, Mechanical, and CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) trades . This is an exciting opportunity to drive cost efficiency and project financial oversight on large-scale construction projects.

As a Cost Manager , you will play a key role in managing project budgets, reviewing change orders, analyzing procurement, and ensuring contract compliance . You will work closely with finance teams, engineering teams, and contractors to provide accurate cost insights, maintain reporting integrity, and drive value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Cost Control & Financial Reporting

Prepare and issue cost reports to the construction team.

Monitor cash flow and provide reports to the client’s finance and construction teams.

Perform earned value analysis to assess project performance.

Change Management & Procurement

Review and approve all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process.

Provide procurement services, including preparing RFPs and bid analysis.

Oversee contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages and report findings to the client.

Meetings & Collaboration

Lead bi-weekly cost meetings with contractors and engineering teams to discuss procurement status and change orders.

Provide cost insights for value engineering analysis to optimize project efficiency.

Contract Administration & Closeout

Ensure contractors’ closeout processes meet contractual requirements.

Assist the client with legal issues related to non-performance, mechanical liens, and contractual obligations.

Other Duties

Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor to support project success.

What You Bring :

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in cost management and construction financial controls.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project.

Strong understanding of construction contract administration, including AIA contracts and lien management.

Experience with procurement, bid analysis, and contractor financial oversight.

Soft Skills & Communication

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent decision-making, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Technology & Systems Knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Internet / Intranet, and financial reporting tools.
