SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY :
The Client Services Technician at Allied Stone is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients during the installation, maintenance, and repair processes of natural stone countertops. This role involves visiting client sites to assess installation requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions :

- Measuring and Templating : Accurately measure and create templates for stone countertops based on client specifications.
- Cutting and Shaping : Operate saws, grinders, and other machinery to cut and shape stone slabs to the desired dimensions and designs.
- Polishing and Finishing : Polish and finish stone surfaces to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes.
- Quality Control : Inspect completed countertops to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Material Handling : Safely handle and transport heavy stone slabs using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and perform routine checks on tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Problem-Solving : Address and resolve any issues or imperfections that arise during the fabrication process.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, such as designers and installers, to ensure seamless workflow and project completion.
- Documentation : Keep accurate records of measurements, material usage, and job progress for each project.
