SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY
The Director of Information Technology (I.T.) is responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and management of Allied Stone’s technology infrastructure, ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of all IT systems. This role oversees IT operations, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and network infrastructure, aligning technology solutions with business objectives to drive innovation and operational excellence.
The Director of I.T. collaborates with leadership across departments to enhance system performance, streamline processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with Allied Stone’s business goals.
- Assess and implement emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and support growth.
- Establish IT governance, policies, and best practices to ensure secure and effective technology usage.

IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, ensuring the protection of company data and systems.
- Implement security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and identity management protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and corporate security policies.

Enterprise Systems & Business Applications
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of business applications such as ERP, CRM, and collaboration tools.
- Work closely with business units to identify technology needs and drive system enhancements.
- Lead system integrations and data migration projects to ensure seamless operations.

- Ensure the availability of IT support resources to address technical issues and optimize user productivity.

- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing spending on infrastructure, software, and services.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TRAINING)
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity programs.
- Strong background in cloud computing, networking, and systems architecture.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the manufacturing, cabinetry, countertop, or construction industries.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and data integration.
- Certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or AWS/Azure certifications).
