Summary of Position and Responsibility : The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient sales processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales representatives and other departments.

- Support sales team with administrative tasks : Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts. Manage and update customer records and sales databases.
- Assist in order processing and customer service : Process sales orders, track shipments, and handle customer inquiries and complaints. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Generate sales reports and analysis : Prepare and distribute regular sales reports and analysis to the sales team and management. Monitor sales performance and provide insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other departments : Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales activities. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to sales.
- Prepare accurate pricing quotes and bid proposals based on customer requirements and project specifications for countertops and cabinets.
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to gather necessary details for pricing and bidding.
- Handle pricing inquiries from customers and provide timely responses.
- Review and update product pricing based on current market trends, material costs, and project scope.
- Assist the sales team by preparing detailed, customized quotes that reflect customer needs, project size, and material specifications.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :
Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications (Education, Certifications, and / or Training) :
Required Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Required Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles.
Preferred Experience : Experience with CRM software and sales analytics.
Work Environment : This role operates in a standard office environment. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Physical Demands : This role primarily involves extended periods of sitting at a desk or computer workstation, with regular use of keyboard and mouse for typing and data entry tasks. Visual acuity is required to view computer screens and review documents. Occasional lifting of office supplies or materials up to 20 pounds may be required.
