Job Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and quotations in person or via phone, email, and fax.
- Act as a liaison between the customer, internal resources and manufacturer.
- Provide technical support to customers and associates.
- Establish new customer contacts and increase sales to existing customer base.
- Emphasize service or product features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.
- Provide support for Outside Sales Representatives.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
- Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.
- Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicate changes with related departments.
- Coordinate with customer service on status of orders to ensure delivery commitment to the customer is met.
- Attend industry conferences to develop industry expertise and build network.
- Ability to maintain physical effort throughout the shift including, standing, bending, lifting, stooping, and squatting.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient level computer skills, experience with CSD & Outlook beneficial, but not required.
- Excellent sales skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Punctuality and excellent attendance history – must be dependable.
- Decision-making, problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Mechanically inclined, general knowledge of Commercial/Residential HVACR systems preferred.
- Two years’ experience in wholesale environment.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Pre-employment screening.
