Job Duties:
- Pulling, filling, packing and setting up customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Provide superior service for our customers.
- Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time. Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order.
- Process returns accurately.
- Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits.
- Receive inventory and place in proper warehouse location. Report any quality or inventory discrepancies.
- Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report issues to supervisor.
- Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently. Light maintenance/cleaning.
- Follow all established policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, two wheelers and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Backup delivery driver.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to adapt to changing schedules and demands to ensure superior customer service.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to 100 lbs.
- Operate forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
- Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Team player who works productively with wide range of people.
- Problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Basic computer/keyboarding skills.
- Stand/walk for duration of work hours.
- Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.
- Ability to maintain physical effort throughout the shift including, standing, bending, lifting, stooping, and squatting.
