Production Tooling Associate

Allied Technologies is a Global Precision Contract Manufacturing company specializing in CNC Machining. We are AS9100D / ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 Certified and ITAR / US FDA Registered.

We are looking for an experienced Tooling Specialist and shop helper. The perfect candidate must be experienced with cutting tools in general and be willing to help the production team with running CNC machines as required.

Roles and responsibilities

· Create purchase order for tooling purchases using SAPB1 ERP System. SAP Business One is the ERP software that we use at our company to create purchase order, receive items and track inventory.

· Responsible for maintaining tooling inventory and creating job boxes for production orders.

· Read blueprints, inspect and check dimensions using basic measuring tools such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.

· Assist with the Assembly of Kits and other products.

· Work closely with production Manager to optimize tooling and reduce scrap.

· Ability to cross-train team of operators to allow for flexibility.

· Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.

· Must be able to stand and lift up to 75lb.

· Maintain and clean equipment and work area.

Qualifications and Experience

· Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

· Experience with cutting tools in a manufacturing environment.

· Basic knowledge of GD&T required.
