Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd shift to be based out of De Pere, WI. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, this person will be responsible for supervising staff with an emphasis on teamwork, continuous improvement and accomplishment of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years relevant supervisory experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do :
- Lead and monitor production line tasks including ensuring production and quality tasks are properly recorded; meeting company housekeeping standards; performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in all responsible areas of the production floor.
- Assures compliance of company policies and safety regulations with employees.
- Work with Material Planners / Schedulers to ensure compliance with production schedules, making certain products are prepared according to requirements and most delivery schedules.
- Prepare daily and periodic reports related to productivity, safety, and quality.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures or schedules to meet customer’s requirements.
- Partner with Safety and / or HR to investigate, resolve and provide corrective measures for accidents, injuries, production, and personnel issues.
- Conduct staff / shift meetings to inform on planning and support safety.
