Operator Assistant - 2nd Shift
Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for general labor employees (3pm - 11pm), M-F, occasional Saturdays to be based out of Harvey, IL approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will responsible for stacking and bundling product.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a industrial manufacturing environment . Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do :
- Load / unload finished and WIP product.
- Operate end finishing equipment.
- Line up and lubricate tubing at automatic swager or dedimpler.
- Assist cut off operators inspecting tubing for quantity and quality.
- Band bundles, staple bands and spray ends.
- Clean zinc pots.
- Make up skids and maintain inventory of skid frames.
- Change saw blades as required.
