Job Title: Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator
About the Role
As a dynamic and diverse organization, Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the safety and security of our clients and their facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to all security and life safety systems within designated regions via provided monitoring systems.
- Proactively monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs.
- Respond to security/life safety system alarms and answer emergency calls.
- Serve as liaison between departments and security teams.
- Handle complaints and unusual events efficiently and accurately document routine and unusual events.
- Maintain control of equipment and keys in the Control Room.
- Inform supervisors of missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring.
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or combat arms.
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field.
- Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field.
- 2 years of verifiable data center security experience or private/corporate security experience.
