Security Officer - Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the tech/media/telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering clear communication. This position requires carrying a sidearm, baton, and pepper spray, and necessitates a concealed carry weapons permit. Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Candidates must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.
• Possession of a CA: Armed SP License is required.
• Applicants must have an Armed Designation.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 1 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military.
• Applicants must have at least 1 years of security experience.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
