SECURITY OFFICER FOR HOA COMMUNITY

FULL TIME

PAY RATE: $21.00 PER HOUR

MUST HAVE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK VARIOUS SHIFTS

2yrs EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

CA DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED

Position Overview:

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and property within the HOA community.

This role includes patrolling the premises, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the community to deter and detect suspicious activities.
• Monitor access control points to ensure authorized entry and exit of residents and guests.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement as necessary.
• Enforce HOA rules and regulations, addressing violations as they occur.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Provide assistance and guidance to residents and guests as needed.
• Collaborate with HOA management and local authorities to enhance community safety.
• Act as a visible presence in the community to foster a sense of security among residents.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Qualifications:

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and record-keeping.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
